Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Chambers Wales At Expo 2020 Dubai Networking Event

OCTOBER 21, 2021: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) hosted a Networking Event at Expo 2020 Dubai and invitees included members of the Prominent Family of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), members of the Diplomatic Corps, participants from pavilions already engaging SVG on possible investments and Vincentian investors.

Dr The Hon Ralph E. Gonsalves, Prime Minister of SVG, brought greetings via Zoom and spoke encouragingly about the investment climate and opportunities available to investors.

One of the featured highlights at the event was the presentation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Chambers Wales and St Vincent and the Grenadines Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SVGCIC) to foster commercial exchanges and economic cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr Hamed bin Ahmed Al Hamed, Chairman of Al Farida Investments Company (Abu Dhabi, UAE) was the Honourable Guest who presented the agreement to the parties involved.

The agreement was previously signed by SVGCIC President Mr Peter Van Whervin and Chambers Wales President Mr Peter Slevin, who both represented their respective Chambers.

Ms Annette Mark, Invest SVG Executive Director and SVGCIC Vice President, and Mr Faheem Azhar (Ambassador of Chambers Wales) accepted the agreement at the signing event.
